Madam Puddifoot's
tea shop is very popular among young couples that come from Hogwarts on
Hogsmeade weekends.
Hog's Head
The Hog’s
Head is pretty hard to find due to the fact that it’s located on
a side street. It’s a dirty place. There’s hardly any sunlight
passing through the mucky windows. The barman is Dumbledore’s brother,
Aberforth. He is mentioned once in the 4th Harry Potter book, “Goblet
of Fire”. Aberforth had problems with the ministry after practicing
illegal magic on goats. His inn is also permeated by a goaty odor. Despite
its appearance, Hogs’s Head played a significant role in history.
This is where Dumbledore met Sybil Trelawney for the first time. That
night, she made the prophecy of “The Boy Who Lived”, a prophecy
that was about to change the course of history forever. The Hog’s
head is where Hagrid got his dragon egg from a hooded stranger (Lord Voldemort)
in exchange for some vital information regarding his three-headed dog,
Fluffy. This is also the place where Harry and his friends planned their
first D.A meeting in “Order of the Phoenix”.
The Three Broomsticks
It’s Probably
Hogsmeade’s most popular inn. It’s always warm and welcoming.
The atmosphere is nice and cosy, making this inn a good place to chat
and drink something with your friends. The Three Broomsticks is run by
